Role: Deputy Nursery Manager (Supernumerary)
Location: NEW Linmere Day Nursery | Hockcliffe | LU5
Contract: Permanent | 37.5 hours/week | 52 weeks/year
Working pattern: Varied shifts Monday-Friday between 07:00-18:30 | Choose a 4 or 5 day week
Salary: £35,178–£40,033.50 per annum (pro-rata)

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you'll be one of the founding leaders of our newest nursery, working alongside the Nursery Manager to build an incredible team, establish a positive culture and create a setting where children can flourish and colleagues can build rewarding careers.

About you
You're an experienced early years leader - You hold a DfE-approved Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above and have experience leading colleagues within an early years setting, ideally as a Third-in-Charge, Assistant Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager.

You're passionate about developing others - You lead by example, coaching and mentoring colleagues to deliver outstanding early years education and care while supporting them to reach their full potential.
Safeguarding is central to everything you do - You place children's wellbeing at the heart of every decision, ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, care and professional practice are maintained every day.
You're collaborative and commercially aware - Working alongside your Nursery Manager, you'll help drive occupancy, colleague engagement, recruitment, retention and financial performance while establishing the nursery as the first choice for local families. You'll confidently lead the nursery whenever the Nursery Manager is absent.
