Nursery Support Manager (field-based)

Job Introduction

We have an opportunity for you to join us at Childbase Partnership, an employee-owned company, in the role of Nursery Support Manager.  You will join us on a full time basis and will work a variety of shifts between the hours of 06:45am-18:30pm, Monday-Friday, all-year-round.  

In this field-based role, you will travel to our different nursery sites, according to operational needs, to provide managerial cover in the absence of one of the named management team; you may be covering the day-to-day responsibilities of the Nursery Manager, the Deputy Manager or the Quality Manager.  Under the direction of the Regional Director/s and Area Manager/s, you may also be required to work in partnership with a specific management team, at their nursery, to support with key projects for the setting.

We are offering a pay rate of £19.79-£22.73 per hour with this role (£38,590-£44,323 per annum when working 37.5 hours a week).  

We are seeking a very special person to join us in this leadership role.  Someone who:

  • holds an early years qualification at level three or above and has extensive, demonstrable experience of working in a senior leadership role in a nursery setting
  • has excellent knowledge of the EYFS statutory requirements and health and safety regulations, and can lead and motivate a large team to effectively deliver against the relevant framework/s, resulting in outstanding outcomes for all at the nursery
  • will ensure customers receive exceptional levels of care and service, and colleagues receive appropriate support, forging supportive and positive relationships with all stakeholders
  • champions our company values and will successfully problem-solve to overcome challenges, inline with our values and in partnership with the named management team/s, Area Manager/s and Regional Director/s
