Now is your chance! We have an Windmill Hill Day Nursery opportunity for a Quality Manager (early years qualified to level 3 or above) to join the team at our in Swindon on a full time basis.
In return for your experience of nurturing and leading a team, your extensive knowledge of the EYFS, and your desire to consistently strive for excellence, we are offering you a pay rate of £14.67-£16.25 per hour.
Main Responsibility
- Your role is focussed on maintaining and continually improving the quality of provision and through positive interaction, purposeful engagement and role modelling of best practice, you will inspire the team to deliver high quality practice which encompasses the EYFS and ensures the individual needs of every child in the care of the nursery are met. You will regularly review children's observations, planning and the self-evaluation board, creating cohort reports and using these to adapt practice accordingly
- You will assist the Nursery Manager and the Deputy Manager to effectively implement company policies and procedures, ensuring colleagues are fully supported to achieve and progress in their roles. You will mentor Apprentices and lead a peer observation programme across the setting, analysing findings to inform supervisions and development reviews for all colleagues. In consultation with the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager you will liaise with the Quality and Training team as required to upskill team members and to strengthen practice
- You will respectfully engage with parents, colleagues and external professionals, including OFSTED, in order to successfully work in partnership to uphold children's well-being and levels of outstanding care
- In the absence of the Nursery Manager and the Deputy Manager, you will oversee the setting, ensuring all statutory requirements are met
