Help us make a difference to early years education across the world.

At Childbase Partnership, we believe every child deserves the very best start in life. We're passionate about creating environments where children can thrive, practitioners feel inspired and high-quality early years education makes a lasting difference.

We're looking for an experienced and passionate International Quality, Training & Consultancy Officer to join our growing international team and help us share our expertise, knowledge and commitment to excellence with early years settings around the world.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in early years quality, training, inspection or consultancy who is ready to take their expertise beyond the UK.

Working alongside our Head of International, you'll play a key role in shaping quality standards, delivering inspiring professional learning and supporting meaningful improvements in early childhood education across different countries and cultures.

If you're passionate about early years education, love sharing your knowledge and are excited by the opportunity to make an international impact, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

No two days will be quite the same! You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead international quality reviews, audits and accreditation activities, helping early years settings achieve and maintain high standards.
  • Develop quality frameworks, assessment tools and practical resources that support continuous improvement.
  • Design and deliver engaging training, workshops and professional development programmes for early years practitioners and leaders.
  • Provide expert consultancy and guidance to international early years settings, helping them strengthen their practice and improve children's experiences.
  • Translate the latest research, evidence and best practice into practical approaches that make a real difference.
  • Produce clear, insightful reports and recommendations that support positive change.
  • Evaluate the impact of training and consultancy, ensuring improvements are meaningful and sustainable.
  • Work collaboratively with international clients, education professionals and partners, building positive relationships across different cultures.
  • Contribute your expertise to exciting new international projects, proposals and initiatives.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who combines excellent early years knowledge with a genuine passion for developing others.

You'll bring:

  • Significant experience in early childhood quality improvement, training, inspection or consultancy.
  • A strong understanding of child development, early years pedagogy, inclusion and effective leadership.
  • Experience conducting quality reviews, observations and supporting improvement initiatives.
  • Confidence in designing and delivering engaging professional learning for different audiences.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and report-writing skills.
  • The ability to turn research and educational theory into practical improvements for children and practitioners.
  • A collaborative approach, sound professional judgement and the confidence to offer constructive feedback.
  • Cultural awareness, adaptability and enthusiasm for working with people from different backgrounds.

Experience of international early years education, accreditation, research or evaluation would be a real advantage, as would a postgraduate qualification or equivalent specialist expertise.

Most importantly, you'll share our passion for giving children the best possible start in life, wherever they are in the world.

A role that takes you places

This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your early years expertise with international experience.

You'll be based at our Head Office in Newport Pagnell, working as part of our international team, with opportunities to travel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), India and destinations across Europe to deliver training, undertake quality reviews and support consultancy projects.

International travel will be a regular and essential part of the role, and trips may vary in duration depending on project requirements. You'll need to be comfortable working away from home, building relationships across different cultures and adapting your approach to different educational environments.
